The Forum of the Pompidou Centre is probably the busiest cultural concourse in the world. In concentrating a considerable part of the ressources of the exhibition into the facade which looks onto this concourse, we were addressing this public directly. A 20 metre long graphic invitation to engage in the entanglements within, the facade included three screens relaying live video from the three studios within and the installation Here Then and Now which monitors the everyday movement in the Forum, measuring Day Zero (the first day of the exhibition) against the continuous present captured live from a fixed camera behind the facade.
