With the help of RPA, the artists have teamed up with computer scientists Conor Gallagher and David Monaghan from the CLARITY research centre to bring you the “Look Both Ways” app, which brings the Hall of Mirrors exhibition straight to your phone. The App contains several visualisations that replicate some of the visual ideas used in the Hall of Mirrors exhibition. You can now replicate human perception experiments conducted over 100 years ago by looking at the world upside down or in negative; experiment with Colour Pathways in a live video stream and even swop colours over; reflect and experiment with the perception of movement by only displaying moving objects in the Moving Still visualisation; and experience the 4th dimension of video with Time Slice.
