2. The third work on glass—for the entrance to the workshop spaces of the cultural centre—uses the light flooding in from the glass facade on the other side of this narrow room to make an intensely luminous floor-to ceiling image, bringing warmth into the corridor: a beacon, visible to anyone walking through the hall of the building.
   

We focus on the handiwork (which we liberally translate as main d’œuvre) in the workshops (painting, mosaic, pottery, lace…) and we were inspired once again by chronophotography. Our interest was not so much to produce a precise study of an activity, so as to capture the ageless and vital nature of these handcrafts.
